Last month, we hosted a global celebration and initiative around World Environment Day, dedicating an entire month to focus on sustainability, which is at the core of our operations and mission.

Our employees, the backbone of our organization, have shown immense dedication and hard work in advancing our Twentyby30program. Their commitment is crucial in helping us achieve our targets and make the impact we aim for in corporate and environmental stewardship.

We are continually developing Best Practices to further reduce our carbon footprint. Our teams at Crown Holdings across the globe have been actively participating in various initiatives on the occasion of World Environment Day, demonstrating their commitment to preserving natural habitats and reducing waste.

North America

In North America, in Tampa, FL, where our headquarters are located, the sponsorship of The Big Run 5K highlighted our commitment to promoting recycling and supporting community well-being, while also reducing single-use plastics.

Europe

In Europe, our teams in Spain, Greece and Turkey have taken a hands-on approach to environmental stewardship, and actively participated in planting activities, environmental education, and beach cleanups. Employees and their families joined forces to collect and dispose of waste, showing that our commitment to a cleaner, healthier planet extends beyond our work and into our communities.

Middle East, North Africa, Latin America

Teams in the Middle East and North Africa organized month-long campaigns, waste collection drives, and brainstorming sessions focused on our sustainability objectives, while across the ocean, our Latin American plants in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico contributed with seed distributions, environmental workshops and quizzes, all designed to deepen employees' understanding of sustainability and encourage eco-friendly practices.

Asia

On the other side of the world, our Asian plants have made significant strides in reducing our carbon footprint by eliminating the use of single-use plastic cups. The team adopted instead reusable bottles, made of aluminum, a permanent material that can be recycled multiple times without losing its inherent properties, just like our cans.

Signode

Additionally, Signode locations worldwide joined forces through the organization of tree planting, recycling initiatives, and energy-saving measures in no less than 59 locations.

These collective efforts across our global locations reflect tireless efforts and great dedication to creating a more sustainable future. At Crown Holdings, we believe in the power of collective action, and together, we can make a significant difference.
